Happy New Year!
Last month, I used up 13 products, 7 of them full size. The Tea Tree Tingle body wash from Trader Joe's is the only real clear winner - but I think I won't repurchase until summer - great for cleaning off sweaty griminess, overkill for winter.

used it!!!
*EcoTools body lotion - full size, ok, not great, takes a while to sink in, smells like Kool-Aid.
*Brazen Cosmetics Jinx shadow sample - this sample lasted a lot longer than I thought it would - I probably got at least 20 wears out of it. Now I'm looking forward to not wearing purple again for a while! This was a light blurple. Brazen uses carnauba wax in their formulations, so it goes on really smoothly.
*Liza's Lotions 1/3 oz. blotch be gone lotion - I think I might like this more for winter than for summer - it's a bit sticky for this humidity, but it's still great stuff.
*Silk Naturals Protein Deep Treatment (1 oz. size) - I have waist-length hair, and there is a lot of it, so this was good for about two treatments for me. The verdict's still out on this - I'm not sure it really made my hair that much better, but I'm also not sure I needed a protein treatment, either - I got this in a swap and thought "why not?" It smells nice, feels great, and has a nice texture. Like most (well, the one other) protein treatment I've tried, this isn't a replacement for conditioner.
ES project pan - 16/20
Lip project pan - 7/10

Used it! (a few more samples)
Smashbox SPF 15 face primer sample - Got this in the Sephora suncare kit. It was ok. I think it may have helped my frankenfoundation, but it may also have merely added another step. It didn't break me out, though, so it has that going for it.
Ole Henrikson eye cream sample - Disclosure - I abhor squeezing out every last bit from a packet. I'm not sure this did much for my eyes, but it felt nice and moisturizing.
Ecotools body wash - Somehow, I ended up with a 12 oz, 8 oz, and 2 oz of this stuff. I used up the 12 oz a bit back, and this morning I used up the 8 oz. Only the 2 oz left! (Actually sort of useful for travel - it lives in my travel kit.) I probably won't buy it again, though. Now I'm onto a fragrance free one from Whole Foods, and I'm experimenting with making my own scents from essential oils!

Used it! Also, a request for recommendations
So, I used up three more things!
1. EcoTools hand lotion mini. Not bad! Scent kind of grew on me, moisturizing without being sticky, a little goes a long way. I might actually buy this again.
2. Darling Girl Cosmetics sample shadow - Trust Fund. If you're into light yellow-golds, you will like this color. On me, I found it to be too much between gold and yellow, if that makes sense. Susan's blending skills are superb - definitely give this new company a try.
3. Homemade blend of shea butter and almond oil - worked pretty nicely on my feet, but overall too greasy for regular use. Will not make again.
Running tally:
66 things total
14 full size products
Oh, and also? I need your recommendations on a morning moisturizer with SPF 15 or above. I'd like it to not be greasy, not have avobenzone, not be mostly silicone and mineral oil, and not leave a really whitish cast. Fragrance free is a bonus!
